Flocking for Hope” is a community-wide project open to all. Inspired by local artist Liz Sharp, the project includes schools, senior centers, community groups, faith-based organizations, local artists, musicians, businesses and individuals across the area. Members of the surrounding communities are invited to create paper Cranes.
Flying as a flock, to show that together we can be strong, resilient, and hopeful…
The “Flocking for Hope” project is currently collecting origami cranes with plans to fly them over the Homer Village Green in mid-April 2021.
Join the Flock!
•Pick up a kit (paper for 10 cranes & instructions) at Center 4 Art, 72 S. Main St., Homer. Tuesday – Friday 10am – 4pm in the Box Office.
•Return finished cranes to the Center for the Arts by March 16.
•For group projects contact Liz at email@example.com to get several kits at once or to volunteer in other ways!
