Farm to Concert Dinner

Come enjoy a local farm-to-table dinner with food and music provided by local farmers and local musicians!

The Center is celebrating a commitment to all things local with a Farm to Concert dinner event where both the food and music will be sourced from local farms. The meal will feature ingredients from farms around the Cortland area, as well as from producers near Syracuse and Ithaca. Appetizers, desserts, local beverages, and a buffet style dinner will be served.

The musicians will be sharing the stage, as well as the kitchen. Chef Elias Kushner and Farmer Bobcat are working to produce this event, will be also be in the kitchen before each concert cooking up the local food. Advance sales only, tickets are limited and available at the center box office/ website.

The fusion of blues, funk, and jazz culminates in an experience where music is the leader in this newly created band – PeoplePeople. The four-piece group includes residents of Cortland and Binghamton, NY. Together, with all of their years of performing in different groups, PeoplePeople takes you on the journey of the musical expression headspace with a focus on groove and feeling within their original music.
John Brown’s Dream is a celebration of the ongoing and shared history of anti-colonial struggles of African, Irish, English, and Indigenous people. Passed down through oral tradition, old time music is one-hundred percent patent-free. Come hear a few hundred years of collective creative process in action.
Local Farmer’s Union is NY’s premier Veggie Folk-Rock Band! They play quirky plant-based originals with some eclectic covers sprinkled in. Members of the Union consist of real life Farmers and Chefs, Pickin’ veggies by day and tunes by night.
