Before Bela Lugosi ever donned his Dracula cape, there was Max Schreck’s gaunt, pointy-eared, and nimble-fingered Count Orlok. As the iconic villain of Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, Orlok represents the earliest surviving attempt to put a vampire onto the silver screen.

In this highly influential silent horror film, the mysterious Count Orlok (Max Schreck) summons Thomas Hutter (Gustav von Wangenheim) to his remote Transylvanian castle in the mountains. Today, most film historians tend to view Nosferatu as a masterpiece.

Instrumental electro-rock band, The Magnetic Pull will be performing a live, all original score to the film.

Following the performance, members of the Magnetic Pull will spin vinyl albums in the community room and “late night snacks” will be available.
