July 10,12, 17, 19, 24, 26, 31 and Aug 2.
10am – 2pm
Participation fee: $20 per student for all six sessions!
Scholarships are also available.
This year’s theme is “Design with a Purpose”
Students will plan, implement, and evaluate an on-campus mural project through to completion, giving participants guided license over the project. This unique program inspires creative problem solving, artistic exploration, collaboration, innovation, and opportunity for area youth to act as creative leaders.
Applicants should have an interest in exploring the presentation of their work in a public settings and an interest in community-building. Applicants should also be committed to learning how to maintain artistic creativity and vision. The mural program is open to youth living in Cortland, Onondaga and Cayuga Counties. This is a non-competitive process, yet artists must apply to be considered.
This program is supported, in part, by NYBDC and the Cortland Breakfast Rotary Club.
